About Us
The Women Story (TWS) is a primarily student-run, volunteer-led organisation committed to creating meaningful change at the grassroots level. We believe that awareness can start a conversation, but real transformation requires action that is consistent, compassionate, and community-driven.
Our Aim
Our team is made up of young individuals from diverse academic and personal backgrounds who share a common purpose: to uplift women and girls by making knowledge, support, and safe spaces more accessible. As a youth collective, we understand the urgency of addressing issues such as menstrual health, mental wellbeing, gender-based inequality, caste-based discrimination, financial independence, and community care.
How Will We Achieve It?
Through educational workshops, on-ground campaigns, creative projects, and collaborations with like-minded organisations, we work to challenge stigma and spark dialogue. Each initiative is designed to bridge information gaps, encourage participation, and build environments where women feel valued and supported.
Aagaaz
Experience our flagship event Aagaaz which covers topics like mental health and other essential topics of the society.
Aagaaz 2025
Aagaz 2025, our first edition, centred on Impact of social media on Women & their mental health. The event featured a conversation session with therapist and mental-health content creator Mr. Lakshit Dhingra, along with practising psychologist Dr. Manisha Goel, followed by a moving poetry performance by Triesha, and interactive games to bring the community together.
